Diesel Monorail
Tirupati Rushivan Adventure Park in Derol, Gujarat — one of the region’s most popular leisure parks — commissioned Amuse Engineering Ride to design, fabricate, and install a complete Monorail system as a flagship scenic attraction across their expansive property. The project involved the supply and installation of two full train sets operating on a 475-metre closed-loop track, offering guests a smooth and memorable ride through the park’s lush, natural landscape.
Each train comprises one diesel engine bogie and three passenger bogies, comfortably accommodating 12 passengers per cycle at a gentle operating speed of 5 km/h. The diesel engine configuration was selected to suit the site’s infrastructure and to ensure reliable, low-maintenance year-round operation in outdoor park conditions. With two trains running simultaneously on the closed loop, the system provides excellent throughput and minimal guest waiting time.
The 475-metre track was designed to follow the natural contours of the park’s landscape — winding alongside the lake, through tree cover, and past the park’s key attractions — making the Monorail itself a scenic experience as much as a ride. The project was delivered on a full turnkey basis, covering track design and route planning, bogie fabrication, on-site installation, commissioning of both trains, and complete operator training before handover.
