A Landmark 7-Ride Installation Featuring India’s First Coaster Wheel
AGS Wonderland in Yelagiri, Tamil Nadu commissioned Amuse Engineering Ride for a landmark 7-ride installation anchored by the flagship Wonder Wheel 120 Ft — the first Coaster Wheel manufactured in India. This distinctive attraction combines traditional Ferris wheel motion with dynamic gondola movement, and represents a milestone for both AER and the Indian amusement rides industry.
The Wonder Wheel stands at 36 metres in height with 16 gondolas — 8 fixed and 8 sliding gondolas that travel along internal tracks within the wheel structure. This creates a sliding or swinging effect during rotation, delivering an experience distinct from any conventional Ferris wheel. With a total capacity of 96 passengers per cycle and a slow, immersive 0.2 RPM rotation, the ride serves as both a signature observation attraction and a dynamic thrill experience.
The project’s 7 rides span signature, family, thrill, and kiddie categories: alongside the Wonder Wheel are a Vertical Swing Tower reaching 30 metres, Zero Gravity, an elephant-themed Telecombat, a beautifully finished 36-seat Carousel, a Mini Ferris Wheel for young guests, and a 10-car Bumper Cars arena. Every ride was delivered on a full turnkey basis — from engineering design and in-house fabrication at Valsad through international-scale logistics to Tamil Nadu, on-site installation, commissioning, load testing, and complete operator training.

The Wonder Wheel 120 Ft — India’s First Coaster Wheel
The Wonder Wheel (120 Ft), also known as a Coaster Wheel, is a distinctive observation attraction that combines traditional Ferris wheel motion with dynamic gondola movement. In addition to the standard rotating cabins, select gondolas travel along internal tracks within the wheel structure, creating a sliding or swinging effect during rotation. Amuse Engineering Ride is proud to be the first manufacturer in India to produce this type of ride — engineered, fabricated, and installed entirely in-house at our Valsad plant.
